Would you like to find a most helpful ovulation calculator in the Ireland? The Proceive website is where you need to be. Here at Proceive, we have an excellent tool which can help you, as well a wide range of fertility and preconception nutritional supplements for men and women. Knowing when you ovulate can help you plan for sex at the right time and improve your chance of getting pregnant. This is when our ovulation calculator for pregnancy is very useful, as it can provide you with a general sense of your ovulation date.
The ‘fertile window’ is the days surrounding your ovulation date which represents your most fertile time of the month - as ovulation is the process that results in the release of one or more eggs from your ovaries. To use the ovulation calendar, you need to enter the first day of your last period and how long your cycle usually lasts. Ovulation happens about 14 days before your period starts, but some women have very irregular cycles or find it difficult to work out an average cycle length.
In a typical 28-day menstrual cycle, ovulation will occur somewhere around the 14th day. To establish your fertile window and the best days to have sex, you can also track the symptoms you experience on a day-to-day basis. Some of the symptoms can include cervical mucus changes and vaginal discharge, heightened sense of smell, breast soreness or tenderness, pelvic or abdominal pain and light spotting - and even more.
If you want to get pregnant, having sex every 2 to 3 days throughout the month will give you the best chance. The danger of waiting until close to ovulation is that the sperm will not have time to get there before the egg disintegrates. If you have longer cycles, such as 35 days between periods, ovulation would occur on day 21, making your most fertile days 19, 20 and 21 - so using the ovulation calendar would help you establish these times as some women have very irregular cycles or find it difficult to work out an average cycle length.
